The Lawn Cafe, Eco Terraces @ Penang

Inspired by a famous Taiwanese singer Jay Chou’s song of Handwritten Past (手写的从前), the design of The Lawn Cafe is similar to the glass cafe shown in the song’s MV. The little glass house cafe sits at the lawn area of Eco Terraces, which is behind the Sales Gallery. This place is perfectly suitable for hipsters to take and post photos in Instagram or Facebook, just like me!😉

The cafe has limited seating area, probably can only cater to maximum 20 guests from small table to standing bar. Table at outdoor is limited too and despite stand fans are provided but i bet you wouldn’t want to be drench in sweat under the crazy hot weather. So visit the cafe in the evening and enjoy the breeze and with a cup of freshly brewed Coffee, it is indeed a great way to end the day.

Do not expert extensive menu except some Sandwiches or Pasta dishes.

The Lawn Cafe will not be permanently there, it is only a temporary project, so if you intend to visit the place, please make sure you do so as soon as possible.
