This year is the 100 years before the birth of Doraemon!
An exhibition depicting “100 Doraemon Secret Gadgets Expo” is having on 14 December 2013 at Viva Home Expo Hall and will be closed on 23 March 2014.
100 Doraemon Secret Gadgets Expo is organized by Animation International (M) Sdn Bhd and sponsored by various organizations.
This exhibition features a total of 100 different life-size Doraemon figures as well as the scripts of comic books, scenes from some episodes of comic books, a small fun fair, a theme topic restaurant and a souvenir shop.
Doraemon, created by Fujiko F. Fujio, is one of the most popular animation figures in history. He is a robotic cat that travels back to the present from the 22nd century via a Time Line to help out young Sewashi Nobi. Whenever Nobi or one of his friends encounter a problem, he comes up with a secret gadget from his fourth-dimensional pocket. The number of secret gadgets produced to date in estimated at about 4,500, including the “bamboo-copter” – a small head-mounted accessory which allows people to fly, the “Anywhere Door,” a door that allows users to reach a destination simply by opening the door and uttering the name of the desired destination; and the “Time Machine”, a machine that lets one travel through both time and space.
No matter what will happen to Doraemon in future, after 100 years later will people still remember Doraemon? This happy blue robotic chubby cat has been brought countless happiness to the old and young people!
Visitors are welcoming by the “Time Machine” when entering to the exhibition hall.
There are three famous classic scenes from Doraemon, “Goodbye, Doraemon!”, “Memories of Grandma” and “The Night Before Nobita’s Wedding”, which will arouse vivid memories of Doraemon for visitors.
This exhibition allows people to take photos. So remember to bring a camera with you!
