It is my first time in Piccadilly. This place has been around for quite sometime and i only got to know its existence recently despite for staying in PJ for so many years. Being a blogger, especially for food. I think i am a bit outdated!
Located below a block of condominium in Millennium Square at Seksyen 14, PJ. My first impression of Piccadilly was huge, crowded, high class mamak! TV is at every corner of the restaurant, music is playing around, restaurant crews are wearing jersey with number. To be honest, I quite enjoyed lapaking here. I was very amazed at their super variety of food! It offers mainly Fusion food: Malaysian, Chinese, Indian, Thai, Italian, Japanese and American. It took so long for me to order my food as there are more than 200 types of food here! Price for the foods here are surprisingly reasonable with this atmosphere. Because i was now feeling well, no appetite, otherwise i think i would’ve ordered more! There is also a separate drink / dessert menu. Alcohol here is extremely cheap too! Too bad, i don’t drink.
Garlic Bread with Cream of Mushroom (MYR3.50)
The cream of mushroom was nice and thick and super creamy served with a crusty garlic bread.
Mushroom Bruschetta (MYR5.00)
I love quick and tasty finger food like this which are easy to throw together and are packed full of flavour. This bruschetta topped with pan-fried mushrooms, parmesan cheese, and black pepper. Super yummy!
Chefs Salad (MYR11.90)
Classic Salad with romaine lettuce, parmesan cheese, eggs and chicken stripes and ham served with thousand island sauce. The restaurant was very generous to offer such full bowl of thousand island!
I was not feeling well. However, i enjoyed eating here with this slightly ‘high class’ mamak environment.
Overall, this place offers decent food at reasonable prices. All you have to know is what to order and what not to order. Go for those recommended on the menu. I actually read their review on Foursquare, there are more than 300 reviews.
Verdict: Finding a parking is not easy in this area, either for peak hour or non peak hour. Never simply park your car at the road side or you’ll get a fine. Just park inside the basement parking area with an entrance fee of MYR2.00 and the restaurant is just a level up of the car park.
