Shikiya @ Low Yat Plaza, Kuala Lumpur

If you are in Low Yat Plaza, rushing time and want to grab a quick meal, go to Shikiya.

Shikiya served Fusion, Japanese and Thai food. There are many selections of food and drinks are free flow. As for the price, i personally thought that it is quite expensive. I don’t meant the foods here are bad, it is just that the price they charged is almost same as other authentic Japanese restaurant.

All the bento sets are served with fried rice, but customer may replace it to white rice.

The Saba Tatsuta Age Bento (RM16.80) that goes with the white rice was quite appetising with the teriyaki sauce. I didn’t finish the Miso soup as it tasted very salty!

The Katsu Don (RM13.90) was huge! The fried chicken was quite hard but still ok. I like to eat with the mayonnaise.

We went to Shikiya to dine today. We’ve ordered nasi goreng kampung, nasi goreng seafood n nasi goreng … ( i forgot the name), all came with a free seaweed soup. The food is ok ( sedap juga la), but my wife love the soup quite a lot.
Agreed, the menu is quite pricey but hey, at least i got what i paid for (good food n my wife love the free topup drink…) 🙂
