I went dinner with friends at Ah Koong Restaurant in USJ Taipan.
I have passed by this restaurant many times but never been into it until last night.
From only five workers in a small shop in 1987, Ah Koong Restaurant expanded to a capacity of over hundred of workers, five restaurants outlets and a manufacturing factory nowadays. Their special made pure fish balls contain no preservative, crispy and delicious. They also serve ‘yong tauhu”, fish soup and porridge, fresh oyster soup, abalone soup, “laksa” and etc. which are tasty and favoured by customers.
By looking at the fishball I knew that they are bound to taste good. The fishballs have a fresh taste and no stale fishiness to them.
Minny and me ordered the Tomyam Seafood Meehoon (RM9.90). Unfortunately, the tomyam soup was not fantastic enough to my taste bud. It wasn’t too spicy as what I wanted. But the prawns and fish balls were fresh.
HL ordered dried noodle (RM6.50). It looked pretty tasty!
Steven had Kuey Teow Soup (RM6.50)
And Mel had Special Fish Ball Noodle (RM11.90)
