Tony Roma’s @ 1 Mont Kiara

This American franchise restaurant – Tony Roma’s was first started in North Miami in 1972.  With nearly 200 restaurant locations in 17 states, 33 countries and six continents, and there are 6 Tony Roma’s in Malaysia. All outlets are located in Klang Valley.

I like the atmosphere of this restaurant.  This restaurant is famous for its Ribs, Seafood and Steaks, and I had lunch in 1 Mont Kiara on Monday.

Despite their ribs are the best in this restaurant, we did not ordered it. We’ve ordered something else.

Tony Roma’s is having set lunch promotion now, from RM16.90. Comes with a cup of soup and a bottomless soft drink FREE. This lunch promotion only available from 11am to 3pm, Monday through Friday, except public holiday.

Soup of the day was beef soup and potato soup. I ordered the potato soup. The soup was creamy. I like it.

If you’re following my blog, you know that Steven loves salad. He ordered Calamari Caesar Salad from the Go Coastal menu. It is for shrimp and salmon and a good news for the seafood’s lover. Promotion for Go Coastal is from 1 Aug to 4 Sept 2011.

The salad was simply normal. The Calamari rings were so crispy to bite on them!

When sandwich came to the table, it was huge, I zeroed in on the Fiery Cajun Chicken Sandwich first. It came with Cajun-seasoned fried onions, a slice of cheddar cheese and a sprinkling of Cajun spices and fries.

I expected more heat in the spice, more tongue-burning in the seasoning and i prefer the chicken not to be too dried.
