First opened in New York City in 1965, and now expanded to over 700 restaurants in 54 countries, TGI’s has a lot to boast about. Two impressive feats include serving 19.8 million hamburgers worldwide, and starting the concept of “Happy Hour”. With the tagline of ‘Come for the Food, Stay for the Fun’.
With a reputation for delivering huge American-style meals, however, our meals are not as huge as we expected.
The Tuscan Chicken Melt sandwich (RM20.90) was topped with fire-grilled diced chicken, melted Mozzarella and Jack cheeses, roasted onions & tomatoes, all pressed together between two slices of buttery bread and side of crunchy fries.
It had a good amount of cheeses, which I thought needed a touch more seasoning, but still quite passable. Chips at T.G.I Friday’s are always good!
Steven is a big fan of salad! Very healthy indeed! He ordered Cajun Fried Chicken Salad (RM25.90).
Crispy Cajun-battered chicken strips served on mixed greens with tomatoes, hard-boiled egg, and Monterey Jack cheese. Served with Honey Mustard dressing.
I would say this is the highest quality salads served at the peak of freshness!
