Farewell Lunch @ E San Thai Kitchen, Ara Damansara

These pictures was taken last month. Went to E-San Thai Kitchen @ Ara Damansara for Joshua’s farewell lunch.

The eatery is situated in Ara Damansara along the stretch of the old airport road in Subang.

I always passed by this area for lunch but never realized that there is such a nice Thai restaurant here. It is really a hidden gems! Hiding in this quite area and this is basically a dead town especially after office hour or weekend.

From outside you might find this restaurant not attractive because of its inconspicuous design from outside. I was impressed and surprised it is totally different when i stepped in the restaurant. It is an authentic Thai restaurant with nice and cozy interior design.  I noticed that many paintings are hanging on the wall for sale.

We ordered Seafood Tomyam. The portion was quite big. Tasted great. I love it. Not too spicy. Filled with prawns, squid, chicken, mushrooms, onions and tomato in a piquant soup that’s fragrant with herbs. It is definitely a good companion when eating with rice. It made me more appetite that afternoon.

Mango Salad is my favorite. Here, i find their Mango Salad was spicy as they added a lots of Chili Padi.

Spicy Crispy Kangkong (RM12).

Omelet. We love it. It was soft.

Forgot the name of this dish. I find it so-so.

Haruan Thai Herbs…. A mixture of herbs…ginger, galangal, lemongrass, peanuts, kaffir lime leaves, chillie, thai basil leaves.

Mixed veggies with chicken. I quite like this one.

This is served cold, and it had cendol, sweet potatoes, ruby chestnuts, red bean and yam, all coming together in a coconut milk.

The group. Cuscapians and ex-Cuscapians.
